Visiting France Anonymous No.2906508
Planning a two-week solo vacation to France in April of 2027.
>low-budget (about 4500 USD including airfare)
>I like art, history, and meeting folks, especially locals but other tourists are cool too
>Je peux comprendre relativement bien français but can't speak it very well at all (part of the point of the trip is to get better at the language)
The current rough plan is:
>Monday 1, hop on a flight from New York and land in Paris
>Tuseday 1, do stuff in Paris
>Wendsday 1, hop on a bus/train to Bordeaux
>Thursday 1 through Sunday 1, do stuff in Bordeaux
>Monday 2, hop on a bus/train to Toulouse
>Tuseday 2 through Thursday 2, do stuff in Toulouse
>Friday 2, hop on a bus/train to Lyon
>Saturday 2 and Sunday 2, do stuff in Lyon
>Monday 3, hop on a bus/train back to Paris and fly back to NY
Sound doable or no?
Any ideas for stuff to do appreciated. General tips also welcome. Your own stories about French travel would be cool to see too. Let's just make this a general French tourism thread
