Why Underground? Anonymous No.43029026
Many of the mythical humanoids are said to live underground. In the Jentilak myth these basque giants fled into the ground when Jesus was born (This could be symbolic of the death of the native pagan culture but I choose to see it as literal because I want to believe in underground giants).
The Yunwi Tsunsdi (Faelike nature spirits in Cherokee mythology) also either lived in underground caves or inside mountains.
Theres plenty more examples, either deep underground or in "hollows" of some kind.
Is it symbolic of the unknown/the infernal or do yall think theres actually some spoopy shit underground?
