Should I do a Birthright Israel Trip? Anonymous No.2912849
There exists programs called Birthright Israel, which give ethnic Jews worldwide a free 10-day trip to Israel to connect with Judaism. I'm not Jewish religiously (Catholic) but my mom's mom is Jewish so I qualify for a free trip.
Should I do it just for the free vacation? The cutoff is 27 and I'm 25 right now, so I'd have to do it in the next year-and-a-half and I'm not exactly sure how safe it will be in that period. Btw for my background I've never been outside the US and Canada and only speak English, so I'm definitely not experienced when it comes to international travel.
