Gregory Curtis Daffron, 35, is being held on a $250,000 cash/surety bond in the Craighead County Detention Center following his arrest on Sept. 22.

According to court documents, Jonesboro police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a Google account that had uploaded 44 videos of child sexual abuse material.

Detective Adam Hampton said the videos included adults engaging in sexual activities with children as young as 5 and 6 years old.

Hampton said the IP address returned to a Jonesboro residence, and it was discovered during the investigation that Daffron owned the account that uploaded the videos.

On Sept. 22, the Jonesboro Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Division, along with SWAT, U.S. Marshals and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, executed a search warrant at Daffron’s home and arrested him. According to the court documents, they also seized his electronic devices.

During Wednesday’s 8.1 hearing, Craighead County District Court Judge Tommy Fowler said that while Daffron is facing 44 counts of possessing CSAM, more charges could be added.

“That’s just what they have so far,” Fowler said. “There could be well over 100 counts.”

In addition to setting his bond at $250,000, Fowler also ordered Daffron to have no internet access.

Daffron is scheduled to appear in circuit court on Oct. 26.
